Called out for S&R for a missing person by Asheboro City PD. Rescue 4 was on scene (Dexter) as I arrived. APD started their search at approx. 0230 hrs. this date. Weather has been cloudy with periods of heavy rain on and off. Missing subject lives in the area and activated a Ring doorbell at an address on Fox Laurel Ct. Initial searchers found a pile of clothes near the Ring address. Searchers also found a pair of hiking style boots in the woods behind the Ring address. Initial search also used the APD THERMAL DRONE with negative results for the missing person. At approx. 12:50 hrs. two search teams entered the woods from the cul-de-sac of Pen Oak Drive.
